The Book of Eli

Directed byAlbert Hughes
Allen Hughes
Release dateJanuary 15, 2010
Running time117 minutes

The opening was very dark and misty, this really gave a sense of evil. The sound effects in the background really gave a suspense to it make the audience think what was going to happen. The Heavy Bass which came unexpected really made a difference and made the film seem more dramatic and serious. When the filming started the camera panned along the floor passing a dead person, then onto someone with an arrow. With weapons and death in the film it really gave the sense that it would be a violent film.

  1. Again, you could write a lot more about these Lewis. Well done for mentioning the camera pan, but you must refer to conventions and the other details we discussed in class.
