Log: Equipment List

For special effects, we were thinking about having a lamp post in the scene, to create this effect of shadows. Also we had an idea of rolling a bottle along the road, so it creates this scary sound to spook out our main character.

For our film opening, we will be using a Manfrotto 190XB Tripod, and a Sony HDR-HC7E 1080i High Definition Handycam Camcorder. The Manfrotto 190XB Tripod is a lighter in weight and slightly more compact. The ergonomics of the leg angle release mechanism and the quick action leg locks are easy to use. While the 190XB does not feature a horizontal center column, the centre column can be reversed or removed completely for low level shots or to reduce weight. The Sony HDR-HC7E 1080i High Definition Handycam Camcorder has superb picture quality of HDV 1080i with the convenience and affordability of miniDV tape, the HC7E features the latest-generation ClearVid CMOS Sensor technology for High Definition pictures with greater resolution and sensitivity, wider dynamic range and reduced smear.
